When we traveled to the Seychelles for our honeymoon, we stayed at the most amazing hotel, Six Senses Zil Pasyon on Félicité, a private island in the Seychelles. Six Senses was recently named The Best Hotel Brand in the World by Travel + Leisure, so we were excited to experience a luxury stay on an exotic island in the middle of the nowhere…not something we get to do often! To say that this hotel was luxurious is an understatement. Everything about this intimate hotel and spa exceeded our expectation. The hotel is the only one on the island and consists of 30 private villas. We had our own personal “GEM” called a Guest Experience Manager, on call 24/7. Our gorgeous private villa overlooking the Indian Ocean was outfitted with the best furniture, decor, bath and beauty products around. We loved having this intimate stay with no agenda after being on safari for a week prior. It was the perfect balance! We took full advantage of relaxing in our private villa, indulging in indian flavored food, spa treatments, practicing yoga by the pool and enjoying all that the Six Senses ‘out of the ordinary’ experience had to offer. Pure hotel luxury at its finest!
One of the luxurious products in our villa that immediately caught my eye were the bathrobes and towels. Not only were they stylish and soft, I couldn’t help but notice how lightweight they felt, while still feeling super luxurious. Most hotel robes and towels I come across are really heavy cotton. When I stay at a hotel, there’s nothing I love more than lounging in a comfy robe, sipping coffee in bed. In this case, every morning I would throw on my robe and sip coffee on our pool deck overlooking the ocean. Doesn’t get any better than that! After wrapping myself in luxury for a few days, I was inspired to learn more about The Madison Collection company as I had never heard of the brand before.
As I mentioned, the first thing I noticed was how lightweight these robes and towels are. The Madison Collection is all about making a ‘Green Impact’, so the lighter weight and longer fibered cotton requires less water and electricity to launder—making your at home laundering experience a win/win for the environment and your budget. This also means 50% less storage space is required because of the lighter weight cotton used.
The Madison Collection company is all about giving back to the community through their Feel Good Do Good initiative. When you buy one bathrobe from The Madison Collection, you are gifting one ceramic water filter directly to one Haitian or Dominican family that provides clean water for 5+ years. How amazing is that??
Between the products and the brand’s overall mission, I was hooked and decided to outfit my own bathroom with these new luxurious products from their Bordado Collection, bringing that same hotel luxury home for an everyday, elevated bathroom experience. Because let’s face it, we shouldn’t have to travel to a luxury destination to get this same experience, am I right? I’ve been loving my new products and had to share how amazing they are.
With the holidays in sight, I already plan on gifting the Bordado robe to a few family members so they too can bring hotel luxury home at an affordable price. These would make the perfect holiday gift to your loved ones! As a special offer to my readers, I’m partnering with The Madison Collection and giving away one Bordado robe! Head over to my instagram for all the entry details — good luck!
